Summer Cup Training

UVM Campus Sur, Sede Tlalpan, gleefully receives Campus English Teachers for the annual Summer Training! by Fernanda Cortés.

Last Tuesday, June 21st, the E building at Sede Tlalpan threw open its doors to provide English Teachers with the annual Summer Training. From ten in the morning to two in the afternoon, teachers from both Sedes worked and collaborated with professionalism and enthusiasm under the banner: ‘Communicative Learning Objectives (CLOs)’.

With the presence of Languages Department Director, Teacher Martha Lilia García Torres González, and UVM  Corporate Teacher Trainers Aldo Flores Salas and Carlos A. Prado Garcia  led the teachers in the four hour workshop with the objective of valuing the importance of CLOs to reflect and implement them in classes, and analyze if our classes and planning have been effective.

Going back to basic aspects of planning and through the depicting and design of engaging and effective activities and techniques, Campus Tlalpan teachers took on the challenge of improving the numbers in QAD reports and make English classes more relevant, meaningful and fun for the community under their charge.
